Well guys here is my forecast.
I expect with 30-40 mm of rain hitting the North Shore in the next 24 hrs that it's about time that the flood gates were opened. With more heavy rains after tommorrow I will be shocked and sad if they don't. Likely they will though, rain for four days coming now! The fish will be running hard by the weekend for sure!
Now the Squamish area is expecting 50+ mm of rain in the next 24hrs and four days of rain to follow......BLOWOUT!!!!!!
This river will definately be flooding its banks for sure.Hopefully blowout some old dogs and make room for some fresh fish to move in. This flooding will come from the run off only as temperatures are expected to drop so there will be snow on the mountain tops for sure which can be good next week.
So I would have to say that for the most part the rain will be good for alot of rivers not so good for others. Overall speaking, the environment needs it the most.....AAHHH the life of a fishing finatic! Controled by mother Nature.
I will be missing some of this action, I will be going in on Friday for a hernia operation that will put me out of commission for what we have all been waiting for. Heavy rains and heavy fishing for heavy fish!
Good luck out there guys and gals and get a few for me!
