I want to fish the Cap river. I've never been there and need to know where the good spots are to fish. (Upper or Lower). Also some tips on gear that is working would be nice too.

There are many spots to fish the Cap but I would suggest that you wait until the rains come. The river is just a trickle right now.The first heavy fall rain should bring in some fresh fish and get the season started nicely.
but if I were to fish it now I would suggest fishing the mouth of the river. There are some good size cohos waiting around for the river to come up.Try fishing it first light or low tide. Or you can fish the upper river like cable pool and down from there.

In a few weeks it will be some really good fishing.
