What do you guys think the chances of finding any pinks in the Stave river this weekend are... i've got the weekend off and have an itch to fish.

How do I get down to the shoreline from the highway?

Park by the mill on the Maple Ridge side of the stave. There is a trail that goes down from the mill side or you can walk over the bridge and take the stairs down on the Mission side. Watch out for the no parking signs.

i think our Fraser Tribs are a couple weeks off getting loads of pinks as i beleive the early guys (ones coming now) are going alot further up than our local waters

Lol, I know yours was sarcasm, what you didn't realise is mine was too.

Was out on the chuck and did not see a pink or sockeye jump all morning. I was in places where now you would see a fish jump ever ten minutes. The pinks are still aways off. The sockeye saw four jump this year... where the rest are who knows.
