Went for BBQ trip to Cheakamus River :drunk: Got my rod with me too in hope to play with some trouts
Accidentaly snagged a steelhead which was all more than half dead already. Fish could unsnag on its own very quick, as my hook was very small  Even though it was more than half dead it had enough power to fight and swimmed very fast
Saw another trout jumping right before me like a silver bullet. All in all it was a friends BBQ trip which means lots of good food and drinks :beerchug:
I wonder how many hatchery trout you can keep on Cheakamus River ? Read the regs but was not sure whether it is 0 or 2 ...? Anybody knows?
