went up to the cheakamus today, to fish some awesome water above the bailey bridge. still incredibly cloudy, maybe 1 1/2 ft at best. heard some reports of coho taken on spoons by the outdoor school, but boy, you'd have to hit them in the head! took my buddy's quad upstream, the culprit, culliton creek, puking grey silt into the cheak. water above is crystal clear. wondered if the sea to sky construction has had any effect???

Once the cooler weather is here it should clear up nicely and with these cooler night it should be already starting to clear. Some good early coho can be caught in these conditions if you know where to look.
