Trolled flies there before, did well.....Leech patterns, shrimp flies, olive drab colors....Also used black wedding bands with a tiny piece of worm(kids rods),they worked as good as my flies did...
Lots of sunscreen and large hat,,watch out for heat stroke.....
Take pics , have fun..

Likely lots of skeeters up there right now, bring the repellent!

I believe the main road is still out, so you should choose your route carefully...

As for the fishing, I don't fish up there, so I can't help ya in that regard...

Good luck!

The last I heard (July 26th) the main road to chehalis is still out of service due to a bridge washout. The lake can still be reached by going up the Harrison West FSR, then traveling east on the Mystery Creek FSR. The Mystery Creek FSR turnoff is about 3 km BEFORE the 20 Mile Bay Rec Site. Ive heard of a Honda CRV making the trip, a backroads mapbook is a good thing to have whenever traveling on FSR's.
