Has anyone fished this river lately. I wonder what the water level is like. I heard that there are 2 decent runs below the hatchery again but I'm not sure if this is true. I remember this river used to be quite good for the Reds a few years back. I gave up on it and have fished the Vedder the last few years. If remember they fish don't come in until it drops and by then they are usually coloured up. They are the same strain of fish that have been transplanted into the Vedder so they should come in around the same time. I think you just have to be selective on the fish you decide to keep

Fished through the lower last week chromer. Water levels were good, but dropping fast. Beginning to hit summer time low levels now. Hit or miss. We missed that weekend. Didn't see or touch a thing.
