agreed that there was hardly anyone out. i was at the mouth of the cheak on the squamish and that run is FULL of fish. yesterday and today were arm burners for me. almost a fish every cast.alot of fresh fish through there right now. its a good sign for what has been a pretty poor chum year. hopefully they are still just late on the lower half of the river.

Went out before it closed, and got a couple of does for the smoker and the roe. First ligtht was on fire, but died off. Had to go through quite a few ******* to get any white bellies. Sad to see it closing, but probably the right thing to do until they figure out what happened to all the fish.
Very few people on the river were aware of the noon closure. Hard thing to enforce if you ask me. What are they going to do with someone walking out with chums at 4pm? Did you catch these before or after lunch? Seems silly.

well i was out there at 745am till 1030 and had my limit. unless you are one of the two older gentlemen fishortho you werent around when i was there. i gave one of the older guys the roe from the two does i took. dont acuse me of lying please. i was also out with some friends yesterday afternoon and got fish almost every cast. afternoon after the high tide there was enough fresh fish for everyone......dont know how you didnt get into fish out there. the older guys were getting into some fish as well. whats to gain from lying ??? ??? ??? there is no question there are less fish this year but to say it is void of fish is just not the case.

I'm not accusing anyone of anything.. : :..I was at the upper Squamish at first light and had an average am....Came south to the mouth of the check after you left.....asked the guys "anything goin' on and they said"nope,, pretty dead"....Through 40-50 casts thru that water with a small range of usually deadly gear and no coho were obliging....Don't get yer shirt in a not, my friend......When I was there it WAS DEAD!!..Yes, there were fish there..Sure there were a few chum showing, but I was on a mission for coho, and nobody saw any caught...Did you land any coho?.......Ortho 8)
