If Yellow perch were found in Forest lake in 2005. Why does it take three years to deal with it? I realize that the red tape involved, would probably wrap around the planet several times! But one would think this would be dealt with a little quicker. Am I wrong here to assume that three years is enough time for this species to move on and to affect other areas? :2cents:

I'm afraid it's too late... Perch have apparently been found in Adams Lake:

I have emailed Andrew Klassen, the contact in the article, so far no response... I bet they are shaking in their freaking boots right now!

This news could spell the end of the Adams River sockeye run...

It's ironic that an angler is responsible for destroying what Roderick Haig-Brown fought so hard to protect...
