Good day folks,

I'm looking for an update on walleye fishing on the Columbia River around Castlegar. I went there the end of June and fished below the dam with a bit of success. We caught 8 Eyes in all, 6 were a pound and a bit, one was a 2 pounder and the last one was 3 pounds. Even saw alot of them jumping, one right beside the boat. I plan on making it a yearly fishing trip now.

Saw one caught last week by the old ferry launch. 3 pounder caught with live hopper sunk to the bottom.
