Looking for some info on these two lakes. Going camping in September and would like to go to Conkle but I have relatively low travel trailer. Can I get it into Conkle? I've heard mixed reports on towing into this lake. Alternatively, we were thinking of camping at Vaseaux. Are the sites there right on the highway side or more removed from the highway? Not too interested in camping right on the side of the highway. Thanks for any feedback.

Sparky, too bad we didn't have more "Interior" folks looking at this forum. I don't know much about Conkle for fishing and Vaseux, well you're beside the road so.....try a post on one of the "other" forums.

Thanks BGM. We opted for Pinaus Lake Resort instead (4 month old baby- less hassle in the cabins). Lots of fun, very few fish, all small.
