I'd like to take a trip to these rivers (and possibly some in the Nass Valley) during the Easter break. Does anyone have any suggestions or perhaps helpful hints? I'll be fishing with my spey and hoping to land some steelhead...
Only the lower part of Copper is open, 2-3 kms above the bridge, there are a few runs you can walk in on both sides of the river, very slow though, fish won't hold there.
Kalum has very limited access, the upper part is mostly raft/boat access, the only takeout is through private property(no tresspassing strictly enforced), the lower section has a few walk in runs depending on the water level.
I don't know... I'm just a beginner. I sure like the beauty of the Nass Valley. I have fished the Tseax for chinook in August when I was younger. I would like to go out and fish for steelhead... any April recommendations?
