If kernal corn is consumed by trout/salmonids, it usually kills them. It screws up the digestive system.

Using corn does kill the smaller fish due to the fact that they can't digest it, gets trapped. Maybe we shouldn't go for the larger with it risking killing the fish we wan't to catch in 2 years. Tonnes of other baits that work.

Pautzke's makes some cool looking corn that's dyed different colors. Put in a spawn bag it would most likely work, just not too sure if steelhead would care about the corn smell. Have to check a bottle to see if they have done the Krill thing with their dyed corn.
