Fished the Cowie today. Big Sweeper right across the river , just above the washout. Needs some work with a chain saw, but it won't be easy. Hit a good sized coho with cherry colored gill plates below the sweeper. Got into a small steelie at the washout. Alot of decent sized rainbows on jensen eggs.

The bible camp has changed radically. There are 2 channels and it is a lot wider. Some interesting areas that should hold steelies in a bit lower water. Sandy pool is a mess. Bank to bank fast muddy water.

The Sweeper, just above the washout, has been removed. The washout provided 3 steelies today. They were 4 , 6 and 6 lbs. All had sea lice.

Left the pontoon at home yesterday. All fish were caught from the bank. Stoltz to Bible Camp was fisable with about a foot of visability. Sandy pool and below looked like mushroom soup.
With a couple of dry days and cold temperatures at night, it should drop into good shape.
