If you come out my way Sunset Marina we have a launch ramp, and the locals claim that in and around the islands(bowen, keats, gambier etc) are some of the best prawning grounds in all of the GVRDnowork said:Suposed to be nice day tomorow, wife thinks we should go for traped food, no fishing. I guess she want's to eat something. :yummy:Any thoughts out there about where to go? We would be launching from Kate's.

Thanks arimaBoater.. we get a LOT of those same logs into our Marina. What a pain the arse they are, we have dry storage, and the elevator cannot hit a log or it'll jump the track. Hasn't happened to me (knock on wood), But I'll make the customers wait while I clear the logs.arimaBOATER said:DeepSix Hole in the Wall as described is just north of HORSESHOE BAY. Basically just within 100 200 300 metres from where the ferries exit from the dock or landings... so very close... I assume it's about 1/4 mile long aprox... there should be some boats fishing in the area. Whenever I fished there it seemed to have lots of wood small logs etc... in the water so keep a sharp eye out. But the beauty of the area is so nice...
