While fishing the Cherakamus last year, I came across some researchers who were doing a fish count. I saw them on many days during the fall. They said that they were commissioned to monitor the returning fish because Hydro had changed the flow pattern of the dam--letting less water through. Considering the poor fishing last year, I'm wondering if Hydro's flow pattern change has messed up the fishing. Any thoughts? Heard anything more?
