Anyone fishing the Dewdney slew for Coho yet? I haven't fished that system for years. Remember it coming on about the same time as the Vedder.Thanks.

Yeah I think it's actually about a month behind the Vedder.

An old timer told me on thursday that he starts fishing it in the first week of Oct. when they start to trickle in.... so just two or three weeks for the first ones.

most of us start fishing the Slough from end of Oct through Nov :cheers:

A good thing to remember is the rivers on the south side of the fraser are first and about a month later it is the rivers on the north side of the fraser.

I have never fished the slough but for sure this year going to giverr a try should be interesting,lol, :thumbup:

Dewdney slough is usually at it's best in November as with most rivers but can be good as early as mid october, start fishing it when chum hit the Stave

I'm with Xian on this one... I've always had my best sucess in the slough during early November - the run seems to be later. I doubt there will be anything early in there... but just like anything else you never know what you'll find when you get out there!
