Well I finally got to see the new line up of the DNE balsa floats  . Wow do they ever look nice. I had to buy one to try out tomorrow. Has any one tried one yet. They sure look like the Drennan. They come in all shapes and sizes and 2 different colors. Price is around $5 so it is still cheaper then a Drennan.

I picked up one myself today.

I thought the 35 looked a little bulbous so I stuck with the 25 as thats the weight I preffer to throw.
Me too. I thought the 35 was a little big. I figured I usually go with a 25 drennan so I stuck with the 25g

DNE Float stoppers, anyone know how they work? Couldn't understand what the guy was saying.

(Sorry for the hijack, PM if you want.)
Run your line through the eye of the wire that the stopper is on then hold onto the stopper and
pull the wire and the stopper will slide off.... Adjust accordingly....Marko

had a couple of hours on the flow today and even though i didn't hook a thing, seen a some risers but none to be had for me...as for the floats  casting was a little different as i'm not use to such a long float but a slight ajustment and a few cast later and they track very well. Now i just can't wait till the first dive and a fish on the other end of it ;D

I was out fishing with these floats, and after about 10 hook-ups or so, my line was cutting into the side of the float. I hope I just had a weak one, cause I really like the way they fish.

I didn't notice the scent on the ones I bought yesterday. I have a green 25g and a grey 30g, didnt notice a thing. Is it noticable from a distance or do you have to go up close and smell?

you have to smell them up close to notice but maybe they figured a way to rid of the odor...mine are from three weeks ago and they have a gas smell to them
thats why i haven't bought anymore.
