Well Slabon and I hammered the lower today, but only came up with 3 steelies. I drew my first blank in years, nice work buddy. 2 chrome bullets, one about 7 and the other about 9lbs. Also a fairly clean summer run in the 8/9lb range. Had to work for them though, saw more guys on the river today than any other day last year and only one person we spoke to had gotten into more than one steelie and several drew a blank as well, so we did ok. I have no problem snapping the pics and being the first time out this year, I was a little slow on the hook set unfotunately.
The river is coming down after those rains and is clearing up nicely. If the freezing level stays where it's at the water will be prime in the next couple days.
You couple guys with no permits for your jets, only a matter of time til you get nailed by the CO, enjoy it while you can boys.

?? I guess we have no life and spend our time posting bullshit reports to help other guys out. I guess the dead hatchery fish my buddy decided to bonk was made of rubber like your boat and for kicks we dumped some red food dye in the bottom of the boat to make it look like blood.
This web site never ceases to amaze me.

This is one of the wild fish we really never caught.
