Hello.

My Dad and I are heading up to Dugan Lake and possibly Raven Lake in a couple weeks. Does anyone have any recent news about these lakes or others in the area. I am specifically looking to hook into some brook trout. Thank you for any and all info you can provide. Also, we will probably be hitting Sheridan Lake/Fawn/Bridge. etc at the end of the trip. Anyone fish those recently?

Dugan is usualy fairly good for Bows this time of year and can hold some respectable brookies as well. There is a very small bay at the left far end of the lake that a small boat can gain access too check it out the brookies at certain times will hold in there and I have had days just floating in there till I lost count and got bored of catching em.

Felker lake is close and usualy gives up some very nice Rainbow

Yeah we tried that little pond in there before, but had no luck. Of course, no fish were biting period that day... I think we will give her a try again.

If you can grab this months issue of BC Outdoors it has a great article on tactics/flies and other info for fishing brook trout in lakes (interior lakes)

Yeah. I am going to grab a copy on our way up. What retailers generally carry them? I recently purchased a subscription but I won't be receiving this copy. Thanks for al your help everybody.

I should have 2 or 3 or 4 chances to pick it up by the time the pole is in the water then. :thumbup:
