Fished all through the lower Cap today on the spey rod...The water looked fantastic!!! Snow fell for a good part of the day, and it was a great way to spend xmas...

Didn't tangle with any fish, but the "steelie sense" was going off big time...There's bound to be some nice fresh early season fish coming in with conditions like these...I know I'll be back out there again soon...

out today on the upper river. lovely day w/ one bump but no action. river is @ it's typical winter level....low. vis was 5ft. lovely day. was down @ big mother under the watchful gaze of a beautiful bald eagle. that alone was worth the outing. oh ya and I had to test out the new C3. I like Santa.

haven't been in there since the 16th, see how it is mabey on the 3rd. Sounds like the jig rod is coming out from under the coating of dust. Time to find some low water chromers

I to was out for about an hour yesterday in the lower part, water was low but the seem I was fishing had some depth..... Nothin was nice seeing some Balds on the river, keepin a watchful eye on what was goin on!
