It was a misclipped fish I think, so it was decieving from a distance...man my voice sounds funny...
Nice work Anthony... I never seem quick enough with the camera to get the first few jumps and runs...but it's still fun to watch the vids when you can't get out there and scratch the itch...
Well Rib getting those first few jumps is almost impossible when they do them right away  unless you were already filming ;D great vid though and gorgeous fish
I was there to see this fish landed and You have Ribwart and FishFinder there both do allot on here with ethics and help people with the indentification of fish and between hatchery and wild, there was also about another 15 or so poeple from various forums there and bunch of other spectators there, even though that fish was first called wild after closer examination it was indeed hatchery, So you think that Ribwart.FishFinder would have let that fish get dragged up on the rocks ....... I doubt it :wallbash:
And if it was a wild fish and it was dragged up you think Rick would have posted this up ... NOT !!!
Sometimes misclips can look very decieving in the water, especailly with a little tag end still intact and a closer look maybe needed. As in this case, and it was determined that in fact it was a hatchery upon a second look. It is the first thing you look at...the adipose fin. :
Yes I have caught misclips in the past that you might think twice. I watched the clip and heard 3-4 different guys say wild, so I was confused, sorry... I bet that spot was busy this weekend! lol
