...took a drive out there today, ice is still rock hard and does not appear that it is going to melt anytime soon :pissed:, would say 3-4 weeks at least given our ugly weather that is apparently supposed to last for the next 10 days min. I saw a report last year on bcadventure.com that Edith was ice free at the beginning of April. I would suspect that everything is behind this year, unless we get a real warm spell in the next week or so...... :'( :'( I will take a drive to Jacko next week to check there, not sure, but I beleive it is lower in elevation than Edith.

Edith had a major kill off last year. So the fishing there won't be very good at all this year. There are only a few hundred fish left in the lake apparently...but, anyone who knows about the scud count in that lake...knows that the fish that are left, are gonna be Monsters, definetly trophy trout if left alone for a year.
