I've got a 46lb motorguide electric trolling motor that needs repair.....I think it has something to do with the wiring/seals since it works outside of the water, however once it is in the water the motor gets only bursts of energy...any help would be appreciated!

I do not know much about Electric motors but I do believe that Mikes Reel Repair in Abbotsford works on Electric motors also. Try giving them a call. sage

Sounds like it's the motor speed controller. Ask your local tackle shop that deals with electric trolling motors or marine shop about where to get it repaired, there might be a place near you that can fix it. May be a good electrical shop could fix it for you.
