Englishman river: on the fly (hows it been)

Sorry but it closed to fishing Dec 1 - May 31 ~~ I heard the last swim a few weeks ago counted only 35 steelies in this fragile river ~~ PLUS one fly guy encountered was shown the road ~~ Nice troll

So is the Qualicum (hatchery guy there says although there is no one counting fish, they figure about 100 steehead have returned to spwan), Little Qualicum, Trent, Tsable, Puntledge, Tsolum, ........the East Coast on the Rock is in trouble. Very sad.
