[Chehalis Steel]

I'm looking to replace my 8 wt single hander with something that makes casting heavy flies easier. The two brands that I've really have a very positive experience with in the past (mostly for lighter trout rods) are St. Croix and Orvis. Obviously I've never tried their switch rods though. Has anyone on here tried either of these manufacturers' switch rods and how do they measure up to the competition?

It is very cool. I'm sorry that I'm off topic, but I'm looking for a new fishing rod right now. The choice fell on the Orvis Helios 3F fly rod. I read a review on it on Fly Fishing Field Guides and I really liked its characteristics. What do you say about her? Video review
