also met up with hook and wagonmaster

and if i remember correctly also met up with riblovac today....nice guy....also thanks for the help with my rod today.....never had this problem before but my gl2 seized up on me at the end of the day and could not get it apart......fortunatlely riblovac came off the river and gave me a hand.....any advice on keeping this from happening again would be greatly appreciated

early on until 1:30 the river had 2ft of vis, perfect condition for ... the pink thing hanging from my hook ring. After the rain started pouring river changed to mud 8inches-1ft of visibility. went home at 2

Nice! Hey nocoho - your gl2 got stuck together? Hmm. I've got a gl2 as well (STR 1264C) but never had that problem. I've had some of my fly rods get stuck together during the summer, but a quick dunk in the water to cool off the graphite normally does the trick. I wonder what caused your rod to get stuck together... :-\

Good job Young gun,great fish you got there.
Nice day fishing out today,fished around lickman road area in the morning,water got coulored around noon so i moved up into alison canyon.
New water for me ,never fished the canyon area,met" NoCoho" today,had a nice chat with him,gave me some good advice on where to fish and how,thanks NoCoho great guy.
Funny how his rod got stuck together,has happened to me before but only during summer hot days.
Had a good day on the flow again,hope everybody else did to!Good luck to those who are going tomorow! :thumbup:

Wax your rod! Also make sure that theres no water on/in the ferrel because water makes it slide on nice but can evaporate and dry causing the rod to seize up.

I believe I saw you hook into that thing YG! I was on the other side of the river. Nice job man. When you walked away with that thing I figured it was around the 15 lb mark. What a beauty and the pic doesn't do it justice from what I saw!

thanks hotrod. Were u the guy finishing the run with the cp on the other side or the guy starting to move in? At first i was thinking 16, then 2 guys walked past and congradulated me and were like 12 ish and i was like, WHAT!? She was thick, 4 inches on the back, 9 inches back to belly and 33.5 inches head to tail. Lets see if i can get another one next weekend. :

thanx for the wax tip.......very wet day yesterday and broke my rod down at least 3 times to drive to different areas.......i will make sure it is dry before put together

LOL my buddy had his GL2 stick together up in the chehalis cayons....we tried to pull it apart for 20mins (tried everything) no luck lol it was kinda funny seeing him hike out of the canyons with 10'6 rod haha
