Too many claw stratches for that me thinks. Not all the bears in the Lml and (most) the Isle sleep through the winter....especailly with the spring like conditions of late.kingpin said:more likely an eagle i would think
Eagles are fairly strong, its also hard to judge the size of that fish without a reference of some sort. Maybe it was a wild that has been caught so many times it was completely exhausted and a muskrat got it?hotrod said:kingpin said:more likely an eagle i would think
An eagle certainly may have been eating it but for sure did not catch it and kill it. It's too big! Pretty bizarre. Nice pics Britguy!

I drove up to Campbell River today and saw a bear walking parallel with the highway about 200yds off the road in a field, so they're awake.Fishaholic said:Too many claw stratches for that me thinks.
