Ya, ya, it's a little early I know, but I also know that some of you local chuck guru's start picking off feeders around mid-November.

Anyone care to share some veteran info on the topic?

We've been getting them since early october off Sooke, nothing large, to about 12lbs. Its just a matter of finding them. A bud who is a guide got into 18 a few staurdays ago

Heading out this coming Sunday,...... weather permitting. If the forecast calls for " Shnarky", then we will be taking another type of boat to watch the Lions inflict deep lacerations to the stublejumpers!!! B.C. ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!! Chalupa

Where about are the usual spots (Secretary, Otter, Muir, etc) or do you fish further out during the winter?

The bluffs to Otter seem to have been the most consistant so far, up to about 200ft
