I read somewhere recently that the feds had loosened the regs regarding heads and tails on
ones daily catch so long as the body was over the minimum limit. This was suppose to help
with properly storing multiple cach load with the out of towner in mind...

Where did you read this? I would like to see it if you can find it. It would be nice to chop the head and tail off before it comes home!

well if your good at filleting you can always do that 2 fillets count as one fish ;D thats in the regs.

im thinking the way i read it is that the head or tail must still be with you regardless. you can remove it but it sounds like you must keep it untill you get home. if you where allowed to get rid of the heads what would the head depot guys do with no returning heads of hatchery coho to gather info from?
