Great report Rib, very well put. Hotrod, I would take a stab in the dark and say that is the Chehalis. Though I may be wrong!
Those scenery pictures were of parts of the capilano canyon... 
not much fishable water up there right now though... :?
which reminds me... :idea:
water levels at this stage are extremely dangerous....please be careful out there everyone...even I was a bit nervous today in some of the spots I was fishing....and most of my friends would attest to the fact that I am nuts....
I kid you not, for anyone who doubts or scoffs at this warning...If you fall in, even close to shore under these conditions you are done for. Period. Many people have died over the years because they were too stupid to respect the river!
For any newbies to fishing, or to fishing the capilano canyon, do not go running off to the canyon to try and catch a fish. I did not catch my fish there. The best time to explore the canyon and learn it's wares is in the summer. Wait till then.
Play safe.

Hotrod, ST...I'm willing to bet that the fishing will be really good up at the top of the river in a few days, or at least a day or two without rain...yet I didn't see as many as I thought I would while I was up there...

Well the river isn't the only thing with high water....
Well, I knew I didn't want more rain for more than a few reasons....my basement is flooded....I have a nice little pool next to my computer...I half expect a boot chum to go swimming past the TV.... :lol: :lol: :lol:
