Finally got something to report for sooke, the first half of this season has been pretty much junk! with a drastic turn this week, fished for just over 3 hours this week over 2 trips and boated 33,20,16 with 4 fish lost (if i could only get them to hit when im not by myself). theyve been hitting anchovie with a glow head and glow hootchie with a pearl back around 50-60 ft on the dr. there has also been a lot of sox that have showed up as well with the odd coho, hopefully august will make up for all the gas burned over the last little while :wink:
back out sunday and tuesday

they are going down both sides, there is lots out there in schools. 60-80ft in the morning 100+ft later in the day. ive doing well with the pink/glow head squirt

just keeps getting better, 9 springs on this weekend out by myself both days, 2 double headers and landed 20,26 and 36, anchovie 60-75ft. tonnes of sox around.
