No, I haven't had any experience with that particular model, but do have another Hummingbird fisherfinder model.
To tell you the truth I don't use the fishfinder for catching fish, I use it more just as a depth finder! I found I was spending so much time looking at the screen and it's various modes that it was a pain in the butt! The "fish alarm" mode of my finder is just an absolute pain!! Beeps going off all the time! Fish or weeds? Fish or weeds?
I like fishing because it is a relaxing way to spend the day, but I definitely have found that I don't find listening to some stupid machine beeping all the time relaxing! So, I just use mine as a depth finder.
Much more enjoyable to look at the scenery all about me.
