I have just finished reading the Ridge Meadows News and on the front page was an article about fish kill on the Stave River due to dam maintenance. I sure hope that BC Hydro puts some money into fixing their mistake. Here is the link to the article.

They have routinely done maintennance on this dam and others, worked on the Allouette tunnels and have spilled water at times when it seemed a bit odd to me, however, that being said, the preliminary data on the Redds shows only one death/7eggs. That tells me there is not a disaster, but rather a story to perhaps bring someone's beef with Hydro to the front page....Keep us informed on this one if there is more info to pass along.....Thanks, for posting.......Ortho
