No fishing in creeks for kokes.As for staging fish at creek mouths it could be a good bet.Have not done it in the lower mainland.Used to do it with good results in Kootenay Lake at the north end.Fish would be at their largest and school by the hundreds/thousands.Bonus was all the dollies/bull trout and Gerrard rainbows that would also show up to chow down.
close to 30 years ago I lived on Kootenay lake for a summer and did well off the mouth of Gray Creek when the kokanee started to stage off the creek in late July. I used a #10 grizzly King wet fly and just drifted it on a dry line in the creek outflow.
