I have a non-resident, Non-tidal fishing license. I was told that this allows me to fish for trout. Does this license also allow me to fish a stream that contains both trout and steelhead (or salmon), even though I am only targeting trout?

FWIW, I have no intention of doing anything sneaky. If I plan to fish for salmon or trout, I will purchase those necessary licenses when the time comes.

Yeah I think so. I think you would just have to purchase a conservation stamp if you wished to hit salmon etc in the fresh...as well as have that stream open to that fishery haha.
