Ahhhh... that sounds great!! I managed to convince my fiance to go to a lodge for our mini honeymoon the beginning of September... any of you guys have any ideas of where?? I prefer to fish rivers and the trip would be about 4 days...any recommendations?

There is a lodge on the Stellako River just as it leaves Francois Lake. The Stellako is one of the prettiest, fishiest trout rivers in BC. In September, the Sockeye should be spawning and egg patterns should land plenty of huge rainbows and lakers. The river is only 20 yards from the lodge. Great place to go. I am not sure of the name of the lodge. There is a Stellako Lodge, but that is the hotel in Fraser Lake (a 10 or 15 minute drive from the lodge I am thinking of) .

Thanks for the info, thats definitely the type of lodge Im looking for. Any thoughts about the upper Pitt lodge? Is it over priced or worth it?

have you considered murphys lodge on the island? peak time for coho on the stamp...they are some of the biggest and fiesty coho to be found.
