I want to take my 4 year old granddaughter fishing. Do you know of a small stocked fishing pond around, where she’d be guaranteed to catch one? I took my son to one 27 years ago, but I can’t remember where it was. Somewhere in the Fraser Valley.

Bradner U-catch on Bradner road in aldergrove. will cost you a bunch as they do not allow catch and release and they charge by the length . i seem to remember about $5for a 12-14in fish. seeing the look on your childs face after catching their first fish is priceless however.

Try Lafarge lake by coquitlam centre, I believe I read it was recently stocked. I've taken friends with their kids their several times with success off the point. Used reliable garden worm every time! My wife and I have seven month old twins( boy and a girl) can't wait to take them bar fishing this summer! I might have to strap them in a baby seat while they play a spring though!!

Don't know the name of it but there is one in Mission by the golf course..Lots of fish and if you don't catch one they will give you a rain check...
Silver valley. They also have a camp ground there.

Rolley lake will still be producing in the summer. Try deli shrimp or dew worms. Whonnock lake is also fun for the kids as there are alot of crappie in there.

I use a bait loop. I feed the shrimp onto the hook and then threw the bait loop.
