I grew up in the Shuswap, but its been many years since I fished it. I recently read a fishing report from a guide in the area. He seemed to think that a yellow apex was the way to go, at around 80 feet down.Take the info for what it's worth. Good luck. It's a beautiful lake to spend time on.

Do you need a Shuswap conservation tag to retain fish under 50 cm, or is it just catch/release, or am I even allow to fish at all without the tag?

Thanks,
Bryon
