I was watching a cooking show on how to prepare what was quoted as one of the best tasting
fish out there and wondered if anyone had actually caught one on a rod...?
Apparently they can soar for up to three hundred meters at heights of 45. :D

Just a thought.

A book about fishing in Hawaii says, they are mostly caught when using a cast net or dip net for bait. They're difficult to capture but will jump towards a lighted boat at night.
I've had them land on the boat I was fishing from but never eat them.
Apparently they are on of the best fish in the sea if you don't mind little bones, and one of the few white fleshed fish that taste good raw.
Have fun, Jason
