Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada

Subject: FN0582-RECREATIONAL - Salmon - Area 18 - Strait of Georgia - Pink Salmon Opportunities

Effective 00:01 hours August 1, 2010 to 23:59 hours September 30, 2010, in the
following areas, the daily limit for recreationally caught pink salmon only is
four (4) per day:

- from the Hecate Boat ramp at approximately 48 44.518N 123 37.475W to Cherry
Point, and shoreward of 8 boundary markers located at approximately:

48 44.569N 123 37.376W,
48 44.540N 123 37.019W,
48 44.523N 123 36.684W,
48 44.344N 123 35.869W,
48 44.232N 123 35.387W,
48 43.982N 123 34.798W,
48 43.531N 123 33.961W,
48 43.258W 123 33.599W)
(All coordinates in NAD 83)

Hook requirement is a single barbless hook (Hook having a single point) with a
15mm or less hook to shank measurement.

Anglers are further reminded of the following:

- This opening is for Pink Salmon ONLY, and it is important that fishers follow
the rules for this fishery to avoid interception of Chinook Salmon. If there
is interception or the rules are not followed this fishery will be closed on
short notice.
