Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada

Subject: FN0692-ABORIGINAL - Salmon: Economic Sockeye Fishing Opportunity - Area 29 - Lower Fraser Area Opening

Further to FN0665, in the Harrison River from the outlet of Harrison Lake
downstream to the railway bridge:

Set Nets open from 18:00 hours to 18:00 hours daily from Friday, August 20 to
Monday, August 23, 2010.

Drift Nets open from 19:00 hours to 07:00 hours daily from Friday, August 20 to
Monday, August 23, 2010.

Beach Seine open from 19:00 hours to 07:00 hours daily from Friday, August 20
to Monday, August 23, 2010.

Only individuals designated by the Chehalis and Scowlitz Indian Bands are
authorized to participate in this fishery. All aspects of the licence will be
enforced. Fish harvesters are advised to contact their local bands for a copy
of the conditions of their fishing licence.

The fishery is limited to the harvest of sockeye salmon and an incidental catch
of chinook salmon. All efforts and attempts shall be made to return all non
target species to the water alive. All viable steelhead, wild coho salmon and
sturgeon must not be retained.

It is mandatory that all salmon species retained under the authority of this
licence must be transported to the nearest landing station and made available
for inspection.
