Subject: FN0757-Salmon: Seine and Gillnet - Area A & C - Areas 1 & 2 - Chum Update
The assessment of chum salmon continues throughout the Queen Charlotte Islands.
There is no likelihood of surplus harvest opportunities in Area 1 or Area 2
West.
In Area 2 East, surplus harvest opportunities may still exist, particularly in
Cumshewa Inlet. Should a harvestable surplus be identified, a fishery would be
announced on short notice. Next update will be provided on Tuesday, October 14.
