Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada
Subject: FN0768-Salmon: Seine and Gill Net - Area A & C - Area 2E - Chum Update
Area 2 East
Chum salmon assessments in Cumshewa Inlet continue to indicate a potential
surplus, however escapement into Pallant Creek and collection of brood stock
for the hatchery are behind desired levels at this time. Should a harvestable
surplus be identified, a fishery would be announced on short notice. Next
update will be provided on Thursday, October 16.
