Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada

Subject: FN0798-RECREATIONAL - Salmon: Region 1 - Conuma River - Recreational Salmon Opportunities

Effective through to December 31, 2010 the daily limit for salmon will be as
follows:
1)Chinook salmon: Two (2), of which only one (1) may be greater than 77 cm in
length.
2)Coho salmon: Two (2), hatchery-marked or unmarked.

Anglers shall also note:
- year round that portion of the river within a 100 meter radius of the
Conuma River Hatchery and the Conuma River spawning channel is closed to all
angling.
-the use of single barbless hooks is mandatory in all streams within Region 1,
-all fish foul hooked (i.e. hooked other than in the mouth) must be returned to
the river immediately,
-any chinook salmon retained measuring in excess of 50 cm must be recorded on
the reverse side of your Non-Tidal Angling Licence,
