Did anyone venture out this morning by boat on the Fraser? I'm curious how bad the fog was as I'm considering going out tomorrow.

It lifted by about 11am or so, but it sure looked thick from what I saw around 8am.

Where i was fishing today the fog didnt lift till around 12:00 , Very foggy this time of year , heard of boats running ground due to the fogg and not being cautious, spend the little extra time and go slow, especially in rivers like the stave that is loaded with logs and stumps. dont wanna be running into any of those

The fog was pretty thick yesterday on the river. I was coming down from Mission and had to rely on the GPS unit to ensure i was still on the right path. Scary to think what could happen if you encountered a tug in that fog. I'm sure its fairly foggy today as well

Well, it was damned foggy and friggin' cold, but it lifted quickly.

Like Sandhead, I had to use the GPS to figure out how close we were. While it's a short trip up to the Stave for Fort Langley, until I reached Cresent Yachts, it was anybodies guess WTF we were ???

Unfortunately, once we got to the Stave, the fishing sucked. All the fish we saw moving were pre-smoked chum. Not a sniff of a coho or clean chum.
