Took a friend, his wife and 2 teens out today for chum on the Fraser in the Chilliwack area. Got everyone set up short floating with some of my jigs tipped with shrimp. No action for a while and I was getting embarrassed because I had told them this was a good spot. Finally a wave of fish pushed up and it was almost non stop action for a while. I passed off my rod a few times and just did tailing and netting duties for everyone. Kids had a blast and I found that the most enjoyable part of the day. My friend ended up taking 2 real clean chum home for smoking. All in all a beautiful day to be out today. BTW the jigs were purple/pink and set 24" down from the float, shrimp was added but not used for 1/2 the fish.
