[Caught myself]

I am looking for any information on fishing from piers and land on Vancouver Island. I have just recently moved to the island and am looking for areas to fish and experience the island. I also bought myself a throw crab trap and would like the opportunity to try it out.

If you have any ideas send me message, along with any tips for lures and equipment to try.

not sure where on the island you are but Campbell River has a pier, Nanaimo has Rocky Point where you can cast for salmon, Victoria has the breakwater and you could fish off beaches around river mouths along the East side of the island and catch salmon this time of year.
