Will be doing some hiking to Black Tusk over the long weekend. I will spend a day doing some fly fishing on the lake. Would appriciate any input as what type fly would be best for me to take at this time of the year.

anything with a little flash or just a big leech . but i find spinners or dick nite spoons really good on garibaldi . i went there mid july and my friend fished powerbait got into 3 fish in just a couple minutes . . chum roe under a float worked too. have fun , give us report back .

Fished it a few times a few years back. Black spratleys worked well everytime, lots of fish but not many larger than medium sized. Great scenery too!
