I have been wanting to get one for a while. I almost picked up a Pontoon, but I couldn't find a place to store it. One of these I can. Wondering if anyone out there has had experience with these and what one they would recommend. It is the last peice of gear I need to start my lake fly fishing career!! ;D

the seating back looks better
I would call these a v tube rather than a u tube
I have a u tube and its a lot of hard work in the water
i have seen a few guys using the cat and other v tubes and they seems to glide across the water better
i just dont know the other one you have pictured

I'll third the Fish Cat!...It's more stream lined for the water, so it should break less of it, making your kicking efforts much easier.

Check out the Day Tripper at waterskeeter.com. A buddy has one and just loves it. not the same as a full-size pontoon boat, but way better than sitting in the water.

hey Big Steel...

I am not sure if you are interested, but I have one that was given to me but I have no interest in using it.

I am very unfamiliar with them as far as what is "good" or "bad". I couldn't tell you a nice one from a waste of material. The one I have is a camo patterned unit that was given to me from a lady I knew a couple of yearrs ago. She had bought it to fish with her husband, but they parted ways and she lost interest in fishing, and him evidently.

If you are interested in having it, it is yours. I would be happy to get you more info regarding it, such as a brand or model, etc...

I can take you a couple of pics. It has been sitting in my shed since she gave it to me and I think it is a waste of a tube.

the one I have has the similar pockets on each side, plus some netting around the waist area I believe. It also has the back support too from what I remember.

When she gave it to me it was inflated and appeared to be nearly new.

Sorry, I wish I knew more about it while sitting here, so I didn't sound like a gomer.
